Do you frequently experience an overwhelming urge to urinate?

Do you suffer from involuntary loss of urine?

Do you believe that you may suffer from Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, which encompasses a wide range of disorders including urinary and fecal incontinence?

Many people - men and women - do not seek treatment for these conditions because they believe they are a normal part of the aging process. This is not true! These are extremely common, and often treatable conditions that afflict over 33 million Americans every year. They are conditions with far-reaching consequences that have impact on a person's psychological and social well being.

Recent advancements in bladder treatment technologies have made it possible to control or completely reverse the adverse effects of these disorders. Watson Clinic's highly respected team of gynecologists and urologists are working together to treat - and often times cure - these disorders, eliminating the embarrassment that reduces quality of life and often hinders someone from seeking medical assistance.

Types of Pelvic Floor Dysfunction:
  • Involuntary Loss of Urine
  • Pelvic Organ Prolapse
  • Fecal Incontinence
  • Recurrent Urinary Tract Infections
  • Fistula
  • Incomplete Bladder Emptying
  • Pelvic Pain
  • Urinary Frequency
  • Urinary Urgency
  • Painful Intercourse
  • Male incontinence of any type
Watson Clinic's comprehensive Incontinence & Bladder Health Program offers a vast array of services designed to restore a patient's sense of relief and well-being. Treatment plans are designed based upon the severity of your condition, and range from simple diet modifications to major pelvic reconstructive surgery.

Treatment options include:
  • Medication
  • Pessary management
  • Percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation
  • Pelvic floor rehabilitation/physical therapy
  • Treatment of female sexual dysfunction
  • Overactive bladder therapies
  • Sacral neuromodulation
  • Incontinence and prolapse surgery
Percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation (PTNS) is a procedure that is done in the office with an acupuncture needle that is inserted into the posterior nerve behind the ankle and then preceded with electrical stimulation through the nerve roots that reaches the bladder. This method has proven to help various patients with overactive bladders and the treatment normally involves 30-minute sessions for 10 to 12 weeks and the treatments are painless.
