APRN/PA- Pediatrics (FT) (Main Clinic) - Lakeland , FL

Full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed to join an established Pediatric practice for their office-based practice. Position will be Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm (or until all patients are seen).

At least 1+ years of previous experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is preferred.

Job Duties include:

· Providing comprehensive primary healthcare to pediatric patients, including ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests within the scope of practice

· Accurately performs a history and physical examinations

· Provide continuity of care

· Prescribes medications as delegated in protocol and procedures

· Completes necessary documentation promptly

· Writes orders for medications, treatments, tests & IV fluids consistent with the scope of practice of the APRN/PA and the overseeing Physician

· Providing an assessment of the patient's medical, physical & psychological status

· Documents examination results & records progress notes and provides continuity of care.

· Call details are available upon request.

APRN/PA board certification is required.

BLS certification is required.

Active, unrestricted FL license (or the ability to obtain FL license) is required
