Multiple Watson Clinic Specialties Offer Weekend Availability

For new and established patients who are unable to schedule healthcare services during a busy work week, or need medical attention during the weekend, Watson Clinic is pleased to offer expanded availability across a number of various specialties.

Michelle Espanto, OD, FAAO, an Optometry specialist at the Watson Clinic Main location at 1600 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland, sees patients on select Saturdays between the hours of 8 am and 11:30 am. Dr. Espanto specializes in routine eye exams, and the treatment of glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye and myopia. Saturday Optometry appointments with Dr. Espanto may be scheduled by calling 863-680-7486.

Caitlyn Beacham, APRN, a registered nurse practitioner who works alongside ENT/Facial Plastic Surgery physicians Serge Jean, MD, PhD and Pranay Patel, MD, offers Saturday availability for ENT services from her office at the Watson Clinic Bella Vista Building at 1755 N. Florida Ave. in Lakeland. Saturday appointments with Ms. Beacham are available between the hours of 8 am and 2 pm and may be scheduled by calling 863-904-6296.

Watson Clinic board-certified Internal Medicine specialist Guillermo Vasquez, MD and his team - including registered nurse practitioners Emily Beriswill, APRN, Brandi Plummer, APRN, and Jennifer Potts, APRN - offer Saturday morning appointment availability from their Watson Clinic South offices at 1033 N. Parkway Frontage Rd. in Lakeland. Call 863-680-7190 to schedule an appointment.

When immediate pediatric care is needed on a Saturday, Watson Clinic North Pediatrics at 1430 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland offers appointment availability between the hours of 8 am to 12 pm for sick visits and newborns. Saturday appointments cannot be reserved in advance and must be scheduled on the same day by calling 863-680-7337.

Watson Clinic’s walk-in care facilities remain open seven days a week when immediate care is needed for minor illnesses and injuries. Watson Clinic Urgent Care Main at 1600 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland, and Watson Clinic Urgent Care South at 1033 N. Parkway Frontage Rd. in Lakeland are both open Monday – Sunday from 8 am to 6 pm. Meanwhile, Watson Clinic XpressCare Highlands at 2300 E. County Rd. 540A in Lakeland is open Monday – Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm, and every Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm.
