Watson Clinic General Surgeon and Surgical Oncologist Dany K. Barrak, MD, MPH recently received his board-certification in Complex General Surgical Oncology from the American Board of Surgery. This achievement is in addition to his board-certification in General Surgery granted by the same organization.

Dr. Barrak treats patients from Watson Clinic Main at 1600 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland, where he specializes in general surgery, robotic surgery, minimally invasive surgical techniques, and complex surgical oncology. He received his medical degree from the University of Balamand in Balamand, Lebanon, and his Master of Public Health and Healthcare Management degree from the American University of Beirut in Beirut, Lebanon. He completed a Surgical Internship at the American University of Beirut in Beirut, Lebanon, a General Surgery residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, a Complex General Surgical Oncology Research Fellowship at the University of Southern California, Norris Cancer Center, in Los Angeles, CA, and an additional fellowship in Complex General Surgical Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Barrak is fluent in English, Arabic and French.
