Tumors
There are many warning signs that signal the presence of a tumor, including severe headaches, seizures, vision or hearing changes, facial numbness, personality alterations or paralysis. Of course, any or all of these symptoms may speak to a disorder unrelated to a tumor.
A detailed examination will often be followed by a neuroimaging test, which is performed among Watson Clinic’s inventory of state-of-the-art technologies such as MRI, CT, CTA, SPEC and PET. If a tumor is detected, the course of treatment may involve surgery, chemotherapy, radiation or a combination of the three.
